On the northern beach of the verdant Sir Bani Yas island, just off the coast of Abu Dhabi, lies the luxurious Desert Islands Resort & Spa a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World. Guests arriving at Abu Dhabi Airport have a choice of road transfer, approximately 2 and ½ hours plus a short speedboat crossing, or a 50 minutes seaplane transfer.
The resort features 64 luxurious spacious rooms and suites as well as one and two bedroom villas. All rooms feature international satellite TV, individually controlled air conditioning, electronic in room safe and fully equipped mini-bar.
Resort facilities include a stunning outdoor pool, a fitness centre featuring state of the art equipment, a lavish Spa, all day and night tennis court. Children can enjoy the resort Kids Club where they are able to watch movies and play games; the club caters for young kids as well as teens.

Adjacent to the poolside, Al Shams, a casual family friendly lounge where guests can enjoy snacks and beverages whilst soaking up the sun. Samak, serves a wide range of exquisite seafood and delicious steaks along with an astounding wine selection is a perfect evening choice for all guests.
The Lounge bar is a great place to enjoy cocktails and aperitifs throughout the day, whilst admiring the stunning views of the sea.
There are endless outdoor activities surrounding the Desert Islands Resort & Spa, including bird watching, game drives, game walks, kayaking, mountain biking and snorkelling.
